New Vernon Presbyterian Nursery School (NVPNS) is now accepting enrollment for our 2½, 3 and 4 year old classes for the 2012-2013 school year. We are a non-denominational, educational program that offers a warm and nurturing environment that helps your child prepare for kindergarten. All of our classes start at 9:00 am for a duration of 2 ½, 3½ or 4 hours respectively. We support our busy parents with optional early morning drop-off, Stay ’n Play until 3pm, summer camp and enrichment programs.  Most importantly, our kids and parents have fun!

Established in 1988, we are located in the Fellowship Building of the New Vernon Presbyterian Church at the crossroads of Village Road and Lee’s Hill Road.  Please call our Director, Laurie Ptalis at 973-326-9839 for a tour and visit our website at www.nvpns.org.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Correction:

The Township Committee meetings are scheduled for Monday, however, the public session will be the second Monday of each month. The previous posting had the executive session (which is the first Monday) and the public session reversed. Both meetings start at 7:30pm at Kirby Hall.

NOTICE TO THE COMMUNITY

The purpose of this notice is to advise Harding Township School faculty, parents and other community members, that on October 20, 2011, the Harding Township Recreation Association returned $101,085.82 to the Harding Township School PTO. This figure resulted from $95,000 of principle contributions/donations raised from 2007-2008 and $6,085.82 from interest garnered from 2007 to 2011. The Harding Township School PTO originally raised these funds from a number of contributors and submitted them to the HTRA specifically for the Athletic Fields Renovation Project. The Athletic Field Renovation Project is no longer a viable project; as a result, the Harding Township School PTO plans to reapportion the Athletic Field Renovation Project funds to alternative projects.

Anyone who donated to the Athletic Fields Renovation Project who objects to the reallocation of the funds has 90 days to submit a letter of objection to the Harding Township PTO President, Nancy Priscu at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or to the Harding Township School, Attn: PTO, 34 Lees Hill Road, New Vernon, NJ 07976.  Objecting individuals will be asked to submit proof of donations/contributions to the Athletic Fields Renovation Project.  After 90 days the Harding Township School PTO will assume all donors support the reallocation of the funds. We will continue to work with all our members and donors to determine the best use for the funds available.

Thank you,

The Harding Township School PTO Board
