Would you know what to do if you suspect someone may have swallowed a poison, whether a drug, soap, or a poisonous leaf?  Dial 1-800-222-1222 to reach the New Jersey Poison Information & Education System, which is manned by highly trained personnel and is active 24/7.  (Put this number on your phone, cell, and in your telephone directory under Poison Control; it is good anywhere in the US.) Then dial 911 if you are directed to do so or believe further assistance is necessary.
