Do you have any old eyeglasses tucked away somewhere? Why not donate them to someone in need? Township resident Isabella Zanobini is collecting eyeglasses for New Eyes for the Needy, a non-profit organization in Millburn, NJ, that distributes glasses to people who can't afford them. Volunteers sort the glasses and distribute them throughout the U.S. and in over 25 other countries. Please consider donating: eyeglasses, reading glasses, sunglasses (either prescription or non-prescription) and pairs of prescription lenses. Simply drop the glasses in the collection boxes at the Harding Library, the New Vernon Post Office or the Green Village Post Office.
