Historical Society

The Harding Township Historical Society welcomes anyone whom is interested in the history of our town. The Society has a variety if ongoing projects in which you may become involved, such as the preservation and operation of the Tunis-Ellicks house, a c. 1800 farmhouse located across from the New Vernon Post Office and the 19th century “tramp house” also on the Tunis-Ellicks property. Any officer of the Society will be happy to describe to you the program meeting and special events that are held during the year.
